Nacogdoches, TX is the perfect place to have your small wedding. I loved getting the chance to photograph this sweet intimate wedding this summer. This couple wanted a small wedding that was both laidback and connective. The bride started by getting ready at the Fredonia Hotel with her mom, brother, and sweet friends.

I got there just in time to grab detailed photos of the bride's dress, shoes and her getting ready.

After getting married the couple planned to have an intimate dinner with their friends and family at the Fredonia Hotel. When I finished getting photos of the bride getting ready, I headed to the reception area and grabbed more photos of the decor and cake.

What is great about Nacogdoches, TX, is that everything is within a 5 minute's drive. After finishing with the bride and grabbing decor photos from the reception area, I headed to the SFA Azalea Garden to get ready for the ceremony.

The Pinewoods of East Texas are so beautiful throughout the year, that it's the perfect place to elope or have a small intimate wedding for you, your partner, family, and friends. The couple's ceremony was beautiful, and the greenery was the perfect backdrop.

After the ceremony, the couple took some photos with family and friends. We then spend 10-20mins taking portraits for the couple that they will cherish forever. Since this was a summer wedding in Texas, we headed back to the Fredonia Hotel and continued to take more photos in the cool air. During this time, is also when I encourage the couple to breathe and present together. To take in and enjoy all the sweet moments to come.

After all the photos, the couples headed to the reception and enjoyed a delicious meal with their loved ones. Lastly, the couple shared a dance and cut the cake together.

It was a beautiful wedding, and I was so honored to be a part of it. So excited to photograph more intimate weddings! -Winnie
